Reo Igarashi (五十嵐 れお, Igarashi Reo) is a minor character in the Oshi ga Budokan Ittekuretara Shinu manga by Auri Hirao, as well as the anime adaptation [1]. She is the leader and center of ChamJam.
Appearance[]
Reo has dark pink colored hair and matching colored eyes.
She dresses in a hot pink and white-colored dress, long white socks, and long bootstrapped boots.
Personality[]
Reo is known for her charismatic and supportive leadership in ChamJam thanks to her age and experience in the idol industry. She uses her experience to advise and guide her group like when Maina Ichii asks about dating a fan or asking for fan letters. Or when she expresses her appreciation for Sorane Matsuyama to see her in the center.
However, her confidence wavers when she thinks of her ex-group member Mei and thinks that there are some people you cannot beat regardless of the amount of hard work put in. She felt disappointed when Mei didn't mention her on a TV broadcast as she feels the desire to acknowledged by her former center. When she feels the pressure she works even harder, spending more time practicing to improve her singing and dancing ability.
Biography[]
Reo was previously in another idol group called 'Melty' in which she was the least popular member and had an unfriendly relationship with the group's center, Mei, who talks down to and discourages Reo. The group disbanded and Reo was picked up by ChamJam's management.
When training for ChamJam's debut Reo is able to provide supportive advice and help to her fellow members, thanks to her previous experience in the industry and supportive leadership.
Being the oldest and most experienced member in the idol industry she is the leader and center of ChamJam. In terms of ranking, she has the most fans and is voted into the 1st place position, and retains the center position during the ranking season. She is always supportive and is always there to help her group members whenever they have a problem. She is humble towards her fans and their dedicated support, especially Kumasa.
Being in the top 3, Reo was invited to model for the Girls Festa along with Sorane Matsuyama and Maki Hakata. While she walking down the runway Kumasa called out to Reo and she responded with some personal fanservice. After the show was over Reo comforted Maina when she was upset about feeling as if she was picked as a last resort, but Reo reassures her that she was chosen because she is special and her fans are supporting her.
Maina asks Reo for her opinion about dating a fan and gives her advice and opinion that dating one of her fans would betray the others, showing her commitment to making everyone happy. Along with Sorane, she helps support Maina to ask for fan letters during their next show. The popularity ranking is approaching and tries to reassure Maina about the support her fans will give and that she hates when they are made to compete with each other.
For the sports festival, Reo is made the referee after having broken her legs the last time. However, due to Aya's over exhaustion and refusal to continue competing Reo fills in for Aya and secures a win for her team.
With the voting for the popularity ranking coming to a close Reo retains her position as the center, which she states she has mixed feelings about but says she'll continue to work hard.
She goes out with Maina to buy Santa costumes for the Christmas event. After the event, she walks with Sorane and catches the first snowfall together.
Reo is chosen to appear on a New Years' midnight count show with other local celebrities. She counts down to the new year with her fans watching and then spends the rest of the night sleeping.
ChamJam is set to appear at Setouchi Idol Festival along with many other groups which include the top-billed group Maple Doll which Mei is a part of and now views as a rival but also wishes for some type of acknowledgment. When Maple Doll appears on TV Reo hopes to be mentioned as the idol to look out for but is disheartened when Mei doesn't mention her.
As ChamJam are about to perform at the Setouchi Idol Festival they are approached by Mei who tells them that Maple Doll will be performing at the Budokan. Reo responds that her group doesn't care about where they perform and that all that matters is that they have fun. Reo is comforted by her group members after the rough encounter and is happy again to lead the group onto the stage.

- Reo's surname Igarashi means "fifty" (五十) (iga) and "storm, tempest" (嵐) (rashi).
